This Vertex 04 Hybrid has two new concepts in the frame , the CURVAKTIV system : the twisted structure offers greater torsional resistance .
Thanks to the twisting of the faces, this Vertex 04 Hybrid is able to introduce a variable cross section on the side of the racket . This Vertex 04 Hybrid is able to introduce a smaller cross section than that of the vertex03 frame, which increases stiffness , but we are also able to increase the cross section along the entire length , resulting in a more even transfer of stresses across the entire blade.
